China has a long and proud tradition of acrobatics, but as the country becomes wealthier, fewer youngsters are choosing acrobatics as a career. In a bid to make Chinese acrobatics more global and strengthen ties with developing countries, the government began a program in 2002 to recruit foreign students to its most prestigious acrobatic schools, covering all their tuition and living expenses. We follow a group of students from Africa as they train with hopes of becoming top acrobats one day.
